Will AI completely replace human jobs in the near future?

Everyone is super worried that AI is going to completely take over human jobs in the near future, and that's true to some extent.

   Not to forget, this is the era of artificial intelligence, a field rapidly expanding. It's really scary how AI, created by human intelligence, is poised to replace human jobs. Yeah, it's capable of doing much more than we could have imagined. Artificial intelligence such as ChatGPT and Google's Gemini are incredibly advance. If you aren't careful and don't evolve with the times, you might lose your job because of these powerful AI. Sometimes, it makes me nervous how rapidly AI is evolving, not to mention the latest AI Devin, can replace a coder in seconds.

   According to many reports, by the end of 2030, roughly 300 million full-time jobs will be replaced by AI. Like, how crazy that number is! 

If you didn't know that AI is going to affect jobs by 2030, you must be living under a rock or something. AI is capable of multitasking in ways humans can't. It makes sense that AI will replace human jobs, and that's true to some extent.

 What jobs are most likely going to be automated :

• Customer service representative

In today's customer service landscape phone calls mannered by humans are becoming less common. Many customers queries are repetitive and don't always have demand high emotional or social intelligence to resolve. This makes them ideal candidates for AI powered automated responses.

• Receptionist

Increasingly companies worldwide are in integrating robots into their reception areas, even managing calls with AI technology. For instance, in countries like Japan and South Korea, advanced system in AImeReception can visually perceive, listen, comprehend and interact with guest and customers effectively. This trend reflects the global shift towards leveraging AI for enhanced customer service for operational efficiency.

• Retail

Self-checkout stations in stores exemplify automation in retail, a trend increasingly embraced by grocery chains and large retailers globally. Countries like Japan and South Korea have led the adoption of these systems. Companies implement self-checkout areas after weighing cost and benefit factors. While self-scanning can raise theft risks, businesses often prioritize cost savings from reduced staffing needs at traditional registers.

• Surgent 

While this is not something simple claim, But in presence of a real expert Doctor, AI can precisely perform surgeries better than humans. In countries like USA, Japan and other advanced nations AI has already taken over in surgical procedures. Robotic surgeries are more efficient and impactful than performed by a solely human and this trend is becoming increasingly common nowadays.

• Accountant

Come on, You already know that many accountants' jobs have already gone because AI can do precise calculations, accounting, and can read graphs and analyze data. It is super scary. How efficient is AI becoming in the job of an accountant nowadays.

Just like that, many more jobs in different fields are at stake due to the efficiency of AI. Its capability in various industries are continuously improving posing a significant risk to traditional roles.

  Are you a writer like me?  You must be super worried about what's going to happen. You know what? AI is powerful and has the potential to take over our jobs. But if we consider the creative field, yeah, AI can do a lot. But if you really think about it, how can AI do creative jobs like writing or designing? 

  We are the consumers, and if artificial intelligence creates content, it's not original. Somewhere on the internet, there must be duplicate content where AI takes inspiration from only original content created by humans. That isn't going to be replaced by AI, and that's one truth. We are the consumers and the creators. We create authentic entertainment. Technology is becoming more efficient, but that doesn't mean we should be afraid of it. We are humans; we created this technology. So why should we be afraid? 

   Instead, let's use this same technology. With the help of AI, work has become much less. Let's not forget that AI will be there and AI is going to affect our lives. But that doesn't mean we should back down. Let's use this weapon, AI, and now it's left to us to evolve.
